Martin Gabel
Martin Gabel started beekeeping at the age of 15 and studied biology with a focus on ecology and nature conservation. Currently, Martin is working as Deputy Head of the Kirchhain Bee Institute, where he is involved in projects on bee pollinator diversity and forestry, as well as on his doctoral studies which are aimed at a better understanding of resistance mechanisms as applied to honey bee breeding and varroa research.
