Martha Whitmore Hickman is the author of more than twenty books for adults and children. Among her adult titles are The Growing Season, Fullness of Time, and I Will Not Leave You Desolate. A native of Massachusetts and a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Mount Holyoke College, she lives with her husband in Los Altos, California.
