Mark Hudson

Mark Hudson is a researcher at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History, Germany. He is also a Research Associate of the Institut d'Asie Orientale, ENS de Lyon. His previous books include Ruins of Identity: Ethnogenesis in the Japanese Islands (2000), which won the John Whitney Hall Prize of the Association of Asian Studies.
