Marie Rogers lives and writes in the woods of North Florida. She is presently working on an adult novel and several children's stories. The story that evolved into the novel "Fern" began as a campfire story when she was thirteen. Many of Fern's adventures are drawn from the author's experience, except that she has never been abducted by aliens.
