Maria Hlavajova

Maria Hlavajova is the founder and artistic director of BAK, basis voor actuele kunst, Utrecht, and artistic director of FORMER WEST (2008-2016). She has organized projects such as Future Vocabularies (2014-2016), New World Academy with artist Jonas Staal (2013-ongoing), international research projects and exhibitions with multiple artists, including Josef Dabernig, Sanja Ivekovic, Aernout Mik, Artur Zmijewski and Lawrence Weiner.
