In 2011, Maria A. Zuluaga obtained her PhD degree from Université Claude Bernard Lyon I investigating automatic methods for the diagnosis of coronary artery disease. After a year as a postdoctoral fellow at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (Grenoble, France), she joined University College London, in March 2012, as a Research Associate to work on cardiovascular image analysis and computer-aided diagnosis of cardiovascular pathologies.
