Margaret Fuller

A woman of many gifts, Margaret Fuller (1810-1850) is most aptly remembered as America's first true feminist, and her 1845 work, Woman in the Nineteenth Century, is regarded as the United States' first feminist publication. She was also one of the few female members of the prestigious Transcendentalist movement. In her brief yet fruitful life, she was variously an author, editor, literary and social critic, journalist, poet, and revolutionary.

Personality Profile For Margaret Fuller

Margaret Fuller

The following is a personality profile of Margaret Fuller based on her work.

Margaret Fuller is unconventional.

She is laid-back, she appreciates a relaxed pace in life. She is empathetic as well: she feels what others feel and is compassionate towards them. But, Margaret Fuller is also intermittent: she has a hard time sticking with difficult tasks for a long period of time.

More than most people, her choices are driven by a desire for discovery.

She is also relatively unconcerned with tradition: she cares more about making her own path than following what others have done. Considers helping others to guide a large part of what she does: she thinks it is important to take care of the people around him.
