Born in Sacramento, CA, in 1965 and graduating from Humboldt State University with a degree in Computer Information Systems in 1989, Andrews moved to Los Angeles in 1992 where she was a software developer, competitive beach volleyball player, and improvisational theatre performer. In 2009, she moved back to Sacramento and is now a journalist for Carmichael Patch. Andrews's first book, "Sticky Readers: How To Attract a Loyal Blog Audience by Writing More Better" was published in June 2011.
