Marci Smith is a mother of two and Gemma to five grandchildren. She was born in Edmonton, Alberta lived her youth in Beauharnois, Quebec, and spent her early married life in Montreal, Quebec and London, Ontario. She has called Barrie, Ontario home for many years. Marci was an Administrative Assistant, Lifeguard and Swimming Instructor before retiring and she continues to read, craft and create. In the 1970s, Marci's family took camping trips from Barrie to the Canadian east and west coasts and these stories were initially the product of those trips due to missing story books. As the stories were shared at sleepovers and family gatherings, Marci's nieces and nephews often asked that these stories be written down. At long last, here they are!
