Marcel Poorthuis
Professor Marcel Poorthuis teaches interreligious dialogue at the Tilburg School of Theology, the Netherlands. His dissertation dealt with the French-Jewish philosopher Emmanuel Levinas. He has published work on Catholicism, Judaism, Buddhism, and Dutch perceptions of Islam. He is the author of a dozen books, including Van harem tot fitna (2011), and some 200 articles.
