Manfred Kiefer is a Globalization Specialist for SAS Institute Inc., where he works with developers and testers around the world. His main areas of expertise are software localization and internationalization. As a result, he has a broad view of the spectrum of SAS products and solutions on different platforms, including Windows, UNIX, and z/OS. A speaker at international SAS conferences, Kiefer has written several white papers to explain the "whys" and "hows" of internationalization. Last but not least, he has made significant contributions to the Unicode Common Locale Data Repository (CLDR).
