Maja Trochimczyk
Maja Trochimczyk, Ph.D., is a Polish American music historian, poet, photographer, and non-profit director. Her publications include eight books on music and Polish culture (on Andriessen, Chopin, Górecki, folk dance, etc.), 27 peer-reviewed articles, and 27 book chapters. An author of six volumes of poetry and editor of five poetry anthologies, Trochimczyk published hundreds of poems in English and Polish. Maja Trochimczyk, Ph.D., is a Polish American music historian, poet, photographer, and non-profit director. She holds a Ph.D. from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and two M.A. degrees, from the University of Warsaw and Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, Poland. She served as President of the Modjeska Club in 2010-2012 and since 2018. She is also the President of the California State Poetry Society (2019-) and Vice President for Public Relations for Polish American Congress of Southern California. See less
