Having written all her life as a release for her creative talent she now writes stories of the strange and sometimes macabre. As a retired social worker, with nothing better to do, she looks to her writing as a release for lots of ideas she has cluttering her brain and screaming to get out. M J has written a number of articles that have been published both in print and on-line. She writes strange short stories along the line of "Twilight Zone" and "Outer Limits", children's stories, and novels. This is a collection of her favorite short stories. She has chosen based on her own preferences. "These are the stories I most enjoyed writing and the ones I most enjoy reading, over and over again. Other things M J Henry has written: The Trees Have Eyes, a novella about a mythical Indian tribe in California's Miwok tradition, is a bit different than most of Ms. Henry's stories. It is completely fictional; with research done for names and some of the language in order to make the story more believable. Her first novel, AGELESS: The Vampire's Journals, which has been out since December 2013 and the sequel, Enemy Mine which is in the works and should be published by summer 2014. See less
