He is the author of Jihad for Jerusalem; Identity and Strategy in International Relations (Praeger, 2004) and American Muslims: Bridging Faith and Freedom (Amana, 2002), and the editor of Islam, Democracy and Political Theory (Lexington Books, forthcoming).
