Lucinda shared the bible story with young and expecting mothers when she had volunteered as a counselor at a crisis pregnancy center. Lucinda watched her own mother suffer with a similar bleeding condition for many years, hers was due to a hormonal condition. It looked as if Lucinda would inherit that same condition. In 2013 Lucinda suffered with an issue of blood lasting for four months. In early 2014, Jesus miraculously healed Lucinda of her condition during a church meeting. These events inspired Lucinda to write Veronica as the second novel in the series Women who met Jesus. See less
