Upon graduation, she moved to Florida, where she met and married her husband, and together they raised a daughter and two sons. They have four grandsons and two granddaughters. Linda Dolan was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. She studied Elementary Education at Boston State College. Upon graduation, she moved to Florida, where she met and married her husband, and together they raised a daughter and two sons. They have four grandsons and two granddaughters. She came to writing as many authors do, for her family, beginning with humorous family poetry. When her children were young and would do something she wanted to remember, she would jot down notes for future use. Writing for Linda is like putting together the pieces of a puzzle, rearranging ideas until something memorable starts to emerge. All three of her children danced with a local dance company for more than fifteen years, and during all that time, she worked as a backstage mom and volunteer. So when she considered writing for children, dance seemed like an appropriate place to start. See less
