Lester A Hoel

Lester A. Hoel is the L.A. Lacy Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Engineering at the University of Virginia. He held the Hamilton Professorship in Civil Engineering from 1974 to 1999. From 1974 to 1989, he was Chairman of the Department of Civil Engineering.
