Leslie Leyland Fields has lived on two islands in Alaska since 1978. Every summer, she still works in commercial fishing on Harvester Island with her family. She's the multi-award winning author of 12 books, mother to 6 grown kids and a speaker who teaches around the world on faith, culture and writing.
