Leland Kent
LELAND KENT grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, where his family still resides. He completed his bachelor's degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 2008 and later became a self-taught photographer. Leland created a blog, AbandonedSoutheast.com, in 2016 to document and share the urban ruins he has explored. He feels it is important to preserve these places for future generations through photography. His photos have been featured in a variety of national and worldwide publications.
