Lawrence Dorr, MD
Lawrence Dorr is the nom de plume of a Hungarian born American who lived through WWII and the Soviet occupation of Hungary. He escaped the Soviets and settled in the United States. He is a former college professor and teacher of creative writing. The author of several books, his anthology, A Slight Momentary Affliciton (LSU Press, 1988) was nominated for the Pulitzer prize for fiction. Dorr lives in North-Central Florida with his family.
