Laura Fitinghoff
Laura Fitinghoff was born on March 14, 1848, in the Swedish town of Sollefteċ. She and her four sisters were educated at home by their father, who was a pastor and a member of parliament. Her mother was known for her generosity during the 1860's when the family regularly fed and sheltered starving victims of the famine.
