KORKY PAUL was born Zimbabwe and studied Fine Arts at Durban Art School and Animation at CalArts, California. He started his career in advertising as a "junior drawer". He is a much loved award-winning illustrator of children's books, namely the Winnie The Witch series for Oxford University Press, published in over 44 languages with sales of 10 million worldwide. Known only to himself as the 'World's Greatest Portrait Artist/Dinosaur Drawer', Korky regularly visits schools, libraries and festivals promoting his passion for drawing. Korky has illustrated several other successful books for Andersen, Frances Lincoln, and Penguin Random House. He is a patron of ARCh, Northern Children's Book Festival, Pegasus Theatre, Reading Quest, and The Stratford Literary Festival. Korky Paul works in Oxford, England, but lives it up in Greece with his wife the artist Susan Moxley. See less
