Kir Bulychev
Bulychev is the pen name of Igor V. Mojeiko, who has been a special correspondent in Burma for Around The World (Vokrug Sveta) magazine in Moscow, where he oversaw the construction of a chemical factory in the 1950s. Later, he worked as a translator for the Pugwash peace conferences. Currently he is a specialist in South East Asia with the Russian Academy of Sciences' Oriental Institute.
