Dr. Kim Schnurbush is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at California State University--Sacramento. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Hampshire, her Master's degree from Fitchburg State University, and her PhD in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. Dr. Kim Schnurbush is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at California State University--Sacramento. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Hampshire, her Master's degree from Fitchburg State University, and her PhD in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. She worked for 14 years in the criminal justice system, in a combination of law enforcement and corrections. Dr. Schnurbush also has 15 years of teaching experience at the university level and specializes in teaching drug abuse, law enforcement, and corrections classes. Her research currently centers on wrongful convictions, death penalty, and correctional issues. She is a member of Alpha Phi Sigma, American Correctional Association, Western Association of Criminal Justice, American Society of Criminology, and the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences. See less
