Kenneth Bridges
Dr. Kenneth Bridges was born and raised in the Dallas, Texas, area where he received a Bachelor of Arts in History at the University of Texas and a Master of Arts and a doctorate at the University of North Texas in Denton. He has been a history professor for nearly 20 years. Dr. Kenneth Bridges was born and raised in the Dallas, Texas, area where he received a Bachelor of Arts in History at the University of Texas and a Master of Arts and a doctorate at the University of North Texas in Denton. He has been a history professor for nearly 20 years. He has written six other books, several academic articles, and currently writes the weekly "Texas History Minute" column appearing in two dozen Texas papers. He is also active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for a local food pantry and a local homeless shelter, as past president and member of the the local Rotary Club, and serves on the several state and local commissions. He is a member of the National Association of Newspaper Columnists. Dr. Bridges's wife, Lynn, is also a teacher. Together, the two have five sons and one daughter. See less
