Kazune Kawahara made her manga debut in 1991 with His Favorite Person . In 1996, after publishing several one-shots, she began her next series, Sensei! (Teacher!), which was adapted into a live-action movie in 2017. In 2003, she launched the critically acclaimed High School Debut , followed by Aozora Yell (Blue Sky Yell) in 2008.
