Kasia Ehrhardt works and lives in Berlin, Germany with her boyfriend, daughter, and cat. She designs sewing patterns and writes tutorials for the DIY Sewing Academy. After studying architecture at Columbia University, Kasia took classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology where she learned how to make bags, small leather goods, shoes, belts, and other accessories.
