Her educational background includes degrees in chemistry/biology, marine science, and veterinary technology. She worked for twenty years in the field of environmental management. Karen lives on a small farm near Ocala, Florida, with her husband, three cats, two dogs, six horses, two ducks and a small flock of chickens. She also raises orchids and is an accredited judge with the American Orchid Society. See less
