Kalyanam Shivkumar, MD, who contributed to the current edition, is a well known and distinguished professor and electrophysiologist. He has been Director of the Cardiac Arrhythmia Center and Cardiac Catheterization Lab as well as the electrophysiology fellowship program at UCLA Medical Center for many years.
