To make the character of her images come to life, she is able to draw upon a palette of different tools including watercolour, pencil, charcoal, digital illustration, photography and oil paints. Julie Sneeden studied Fine Arts in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa, but now lives in the UK with her husband and four children. Although she does work as a Graphic Designer and Artist, reading stories to her children has inspired her over the years to pursue the Art of Book Illustration.
