Julie Pfeifer found inspiration and motivation through God's amazing grace after the death of her best friend. Through her grief journey, she finally realized her incredible light within. Realizing that others don't always know that light is in them, too, Julie set out to share with all women how incredible they are. She and her dear friend, Brooke, started Loving Christ Ministries where they offer women's retreats designed to bring women together for support and encouragement through Christ and through each other. While describing herself as a 'work in progress', Julie wakes each day determined not to let fear keep her from living her life fully and boldly, pursuing her dreams, and loving each and every one of God's incredible creations. Julie currently lives in mid-Missouri with her husband, three children, and granddaughter. She's been a teacher for almost 25 years (and is sure that means she started teaching at the age of 12 since she just couldn't be that close to 50). She has a degree in Communications (talking!) with a minor in English and both master's and specialist degrees in Educational Administration. See less
