Julie Howard has taught ESL to immigrants in Chicago since the late 1970s. She has also created EFL programming for delivery in South Korea and Poland. Having grown up in a family in which nearly everyone worked crossword puzzles, most often of the diagramless variety, she has sustained both an appreciation for and a fascination with words.
