Julie Higgins started sewing garments when she was 12 years old. She began making quilts around 2000, found out she loved them and won her first award in 2003. She loves designing and sewing everything from traditional quilts to art quilts and even portraits in fabric. She enjoys presenting to groups of quilters and teaching when her schedule allows.
