Judy (Balch) O'Leary was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, grew up in Moncton, New Brunswick and stayed in Nova Scotia after attending Dalhousie University, in Halifax. A recently retired customer service professional with the provincial electrical utility, she and her husband Mike (a retired powerline technician), moved from Bedford to the New Ross area to live their dream life at the lake.
