Josh Shoemake
Josh Shoemake has published short stories (The Threepenny Review, etc.), essays (Narratively, The Alaska Quarterly Review, The Smart Set, CNN's Explore Parts Unknown, etc.), and books, including a history of literary Tangier, which was a Book of the Month in The Sunday Times, and one of Condé Nast Traveller's all-time best travel books. He taught for years at the American School of Tangier, was headmaster of the American School of Marrakesh, and now lives in Paris.
