Joseph Urbas

Joseph Urbas teaches American literature and philosophy at the Universit� Bordeaux Montaigne. He is author of Emerson's Metaphysics: A Song of Laws and Causes (2016) and of a number of articles on American Transcendentalism and philosophy. He is also co-editor of the French edition of Herman Melville in the Biblioth�que de la Pl�iade .
