Joseph Foley was born in Gaithersburg, Maryland, in the summer of 1988. He was raised between the backdrop of Washington, D.C. with his mother but often spent time in the rural areas around the Shenandoah mountains where his father took up residence during his youth. Joseph Foley was born in Gaithersburg, Maryland, in the summer of 1988. He was raised between the backdrop of Washington, D.C. with his mother but often spent time in the rural areas around the Shenandoah mountains where his father took up residence during his youth. He went to Northwest Public High School in Germantown, Maryland for his freshman year and then transferred to Randolph Macon Academy in Front Royal, Virginia. He completed his diploma with a merit from the National Honor Society and a core emphasis in Spanish Language and English Literature. He has pursued college in many locations throughout his worldly sojourns, in locations such as Oahu, Hawai'i. He has been awarded two associate degrees in applied sciences from Northern Virginia Community College. He is most proud of his literary accomplishments regarding his recent titles, "A Jilted Lover" and the first installment in, "Branded Souls," his fantasy fiction series. He won first place in a literary contest with his short story, "Devil's Bridge" which can be viewed on his personal website.
