Joseph C. Kovars is a shareholder with Baker Donelson in Baltimore. Mr. Kovars is co-chair of Baker Donelson's Construction Practice Group, Mr. Kovars is an experienced civil litigator in large and complex construction and government contract cases. He regularly appears before federal and state courts, arbitration panels, mediations and boards of contract appeals. In his more than 30 years of practice in construction law, Mr. Kovars has dealt with bid protests, bid mistake cases, contract interpretation disputes, delay and impact claims, contract terminations, mechanic's liens, bond claims and injunctions. Mr. Kovars has participated in approximately 70 arbitrations, both as an arbitrator and attorney.
