Joseph Berg Esenwein

Joseph Berg Esenwein (1867-1946) was an American writer, lecturer, and editor. He began his career as president of Albright Collegiate Institute before becoming educational director at the Washington Heights YMCA in New York City in 1897. After a stint as an English professor at the Pennsylvania Military College at Chester, Esenwein traded his career in education for one in editing, helming several publications, including Booklovers' Magazine , Lippincott's Magazine , and Writer's Monthly .
