Jon Fauer attended Collegiate School in New York, and graduated with honors in Art and Film from Dartmouth College. Jon Fauer attended Collegiate School in New York, and graduated with honors in Art and Film from Dartmouth College. He began work in documentaries around the world with Mel London at Vision Associates, ABC, CBS, PBS, American Sportsman, and National Geographic, and moved into features, television, commercials, and more documentaries. He has directed and shot high-end technology and fashion commercials for Neutrogena, Rhinocort, Porcelana, among many others, winning numerous awards, including Best Director and Best Cinematography. He is author of 11 best-selling books on cinematography and digital imaging, published by ASC Press, ARRI and Focal Press.
