Johnny Lee is a lover of music, guitarist, songwriter, and creator of the No B.S. Guitar website, the best-kept secret of self-taught guitarists from over 73 different countries. When he first started learning guitar, he spent the first 3 years really struggling and sounding terrible. He couldn't play like he wanted, and even felt like giving up. But luckily, he didn't. Instead, he went looking for a "guitar teacher." Someone to show him how it was really done. After wasting a ton of time and money on three different guitar teachers... one a "guitar guru" who even had his own column in Guitar World magazine... and still not being able to perform a single song cleanly from beginning to end... he eventually tried a different approach. He found a non-guru... a 23-year old jazz-guitar prodigy... and started taking lessons with him.
