John W. Lehman received his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Colorado in Boulder. He has taught chemistry for 35 years at Lake Superior State University, a small university in Michigan's scenic Upper Peninsula. In recognition of his teaching skills, he received the State of Michigan's Teaching Excellence Award in 1990.
