John Husar
Husar was, for 15 years, the Chicago Tribune's outdoors editor, during which time he introduced thousands of readers to the wonders of nature. He was born on the South Side of Chicago and attended the University of Kansas, where he majored in journalism and played football. He worked for several papers before arriving at the Tribune in 1966.
