John Goode's poems have appeared in magazines such as Rattle, Slipstream, Arsenic Lobster, Bottle of Smoke Broadside Series, Afterhours Press, Mudfish , and Skidrow Penthouse (his favorite). He was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2004. He was Runner-Up for the Neil Postman Award for Metaphor from Rattle in 2008.
