Joan Feinberg Berns

Berns earned a doctorate in English and American Literature from Brandeis University where she has worked in major gift fundraising since 1995. Previously, she taught at Brandeis, was on the faculty of the Radcliffe Seminars, and worked as a professional writer on several projects at the Harvard School of Public Health.
