Jim Budd, general editor and contributor to this multi-author book, began writing about wine in 1988 for the UK periodical Taste, and then for Decanter. He currently writes for Wine and Spirit International, Wine Monthly, as well as the European and Asia Pacific Drinks Buyer. In 1997 he won the Prix du Champagne Lanson Noble Cuvee Award for investigating the champagne for the Millennium investment scams.
