Jennifer Morton

Jennifer Morton was born in Bolton, Lancashire, studied at Bolton School, eventually graduated from Newcastle University in the 1970s, and then took up a career teaching Spanish. She met and married Nik who was serving in the Royal Navy and spent eighteen months with him in Malta. They have a daughter Hannah, son-in-law Harry and two grandchildren, Darius and Suri. Jennifer Morton was born in Bolton, Lancashire, studied at Bolton School, eventually graduated from Newcastle University in the 1970s, and then took up a career teaching Spanish. She met and married Nik who was serving in the Royal Navy and spent eighteen months with him in Malta. They have a daughter Hannah, son-in-law Harry and two grandchildren, Darius and Suri. In 2003 Jennifer and Nik emigrated to Spain where they pursued their artistic interests. Jennifer fulfilled a life-long ambition by becoming Musical Director of a ladies' choir and has also composed music for them in both English and Spanish.
