He holds a degree in English with honors from Yale University, where he studied English literature, creative writing, and translation. He has translated several Francophone authors, from Jean-Philippe Toussaint and Antoine Volodine to Regis Jauffret and Marie Darrieussecq, and his writing and translations have appeared in the Yale Daily News Magazine, Best European Fiction, and The White Review.
