Captain Jeffrey "Golden" Sauers, Jr. was born in 1993 in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a B.S. in Oceanography. Meeting the Lord at the age of twenty-two, his faith grew quickly and permeated every aspect of his life, including his profession as a United States Marine Corps attack helicopter pilot.
