Jeanne Rogers, a native Long Islander, received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Alfred University, NY and her Master of Science degree in Art Education from SUNY New Paltz. Post graduate studies include those from C.W. Post and Parsons School of Design. Her professional training in watercolor included workshops under the direction of noted members of the American Watercolor Society. Though watercolor remains a favorite, she successfully works in oils, acrylic, pastels (especially for portraits), collage, mixed media and graphic design. Besides working as a freelance artist, she has taught art at all levels in public and private schools and was art consultant and adjunct professor at Dowling College.
